Weight Loss Recipes | Sweet And Saltish Barley Cookies


1-cup barley flour

½ cup whole-wheat flour

1 tbsp low cal butter

1 egg white

½ tsp salt & ajwain each

¼ tsp baking powder

2 tsp zero

½ tsp vanilla essence

Cold water as required kneading dough

Sieve both flours with salt and baking powder. Add butter and rub with hands until it tends to crumbly. Now add zero, ajwain, vanilla and egg whites and mix well. Add water and knead to smooth dough, keep it aside covering with wet cloth for half an hour. Cut into desired shapes and bake in a preheated oven at 200C for 20-25 minutes.
